Lufthansa has launched a range of new Dream Collection amenities for customers on long-haul flights.
The products include a new pillowcase and “large, warm blanket”, as well as a mattress topper by German bed manufacturer Paradies and sleep shirt by Van Laack.
The carrier says that the mattress topper has an upper side of 100 per cent cotton, and an underside of non-slip terry cloth, which “enables an ideal air exchange, which prevents strong heat accumulation”.
The pillowcase and blanket also feature Lufthansa’s new brand identity, which launched earlier this year with the unveiling of the carrier’s new livery.
The new amenities are launching on Lufthansa flights of ten and a half hours or more, including South Africa, Latin and South America, and the US West Coast.
They will then be rolled out across the carrier’s long-haul flights, starting with Asian services from June, and with all other long-haul flights seeing the new blankets and pillowcases from this autumn.
