Members of Thai Airways’ frequent-flyer programme, Royal Orchid Plus, can now earn miles when they book rides with professional driver service, Blacklane.

For every US$1/£1/€1 spent on a Blacklane ride, Royal Orchid Plus members will now accrue two miles. Members can add their membership numbers to their Blacklane profiles in order to earn miles on their upcoming rides.

The accrual rate is similar to existing partnerships Blacklane has with other carriers, including Singapore Airlines and Malaysia Airlines. Passengers can also accrue Asia Miles from their rides.

Currently, users can book rides in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui, Pattaya and Phuket in Thailand, along with some 250 other cities in 50 countries around the world.

The Berlin-based company expanded its presence in Asia-Pacific significantly in December 2016, adding 64 cities in 12 countries around the region to its network.
