Thai Airways is providing special desserts on the majority of its flights into and out of Bangkok today to mark the Songkran Festival.
For travellers on international routes to and from the Thai capital, Royal First Class and Royal Silk Class passengers will be offered Mango Spell Tart during lunch and dinner services, while those in economy will be served Mango Paradise Jelly.
Only flights to the Middle East and South Asia won’t feature the desserts.
Meanwhile for travellers on domestic routes, all passengers will be offered a traditional Thai Crispy Jelly dessert, served in a Pa-Kao-Ma pouch that is traditionally presented to elders during the festival.
The only exceptions will be flights TG207, TG208 and TG226 flying between Bangkok and Phuket.
The Songkran Festival marks the Thai new year, taking place from April 13 to 15, 2018.
