Air China will launch a new service to Panama City from Beijing on April 5 this year.

The flight will operate twice a week with a stopover in Houston. A 311-seat B777-300ER will be deployed on the route, offering eight first class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, 42 business seats arranged in 2-2-2 and 261 economy seats in a 3-3-3 setup.

CA885 will depart Beijing on Thursday and Sunday at 0740 and arrive in Houston at 0820, taking off again at 1050 before touching down in Panama at 1430. The return flight CA886 will leave Central America at 1630 and land in the Houston at 2015. The flight will leave the US at 0100 the following day, arriving in China at 0450 the day after.

Air China has been expanding its network aggressively, with new routes including its Shenzhen-Los Angeles service launched in December last year and its Beijing-Copenhagen commencing in May this year.
