Avani+ Luang Prabang
Minor Hotel Group launched its new Avani+ brand on March 1, 2018 with the opening of its first property, located in Laos. The new property is located in central Luang Prabang and close to the Mekong River, Royal Palace, and Night Market. Luang Prabang International Airport can be reached within a five-minute drive.
The 53-room hotel offers views of the pool or a private courtyard. It also offers a range of F&B options including Bistro, offering all-day dining in French and Lao cuisines; Poolside Bar serving all-day refreshments, juices and wines; and Bistro Bar featuring afternoon cocktails and evening spirits.
Hyatt Regency Shenzhen Airport
Opening in April this year, the Hyatt Regency Shenzhen Airport is within a five-minute walk from Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, which is accessible via the indoor pathway. The 335-room hotel has a Regency Club on Level 11 that overlooks the airport runway and serves happy-hour drinks in the evening. Outside of the lounge, other F&B options include Market Café offering an Asian and Italian menu; Xiang Yue showcasing Cantonese, Northern Chinese and Sichuan cuisines; and The Bar for drinks and snacks. The hotel also has a 24-hour gym, 25m indoor pool, steam room and sauna room.
Best Western Plus Hotel Fino Chitose
This new hotel from Best Western Hotels and Resorts will open its doors in May 2018 in Hokkaido, Japan. Located about five to 10 minutes by car from New Chitose International and Domestic Airport, the hotel is also close to the Chitose Railway, which connects to the business and administrative centre, Sapporo, and the major ski resort and outdoor adventure hub, Niseko. The property will offer 154 guestrooms, including a selection of Japanese-style family rooms for up to four guests. All rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs, kettles and complimentary wifi.
Hotel Okura Manila
Opening later this year, Hotel Okura Manila will be situated within the Resorts World Manila integrated resort area, about 10 minutes from Ninoy Aquino International Airport. The hotel will offer 191 rooms with an average room size of 60sqm, while F&B offerings will include traditional Japanese and Spanish restaurants, all-day dining, and a bar. There will also be a pool and fitness facility.
Meriton Suites Sydney Airport
Opening this April, the all-suite Meriton Suites Sydney Airport can be reached within a 10-minute drive from both the International and Domestic Terminals of Sydney Airport. The property will have 179 suites, ranging in size from one to three bedrooms. Each of the accommodations offer a living room, gourmet kitchen, and a self-contained laundry facility. Daily housekeeping service is also available, while leisure facilities will include a fitness centre, heated indoor pool and sauna.
