Air India Express will increase the frequency of the service between Kochi and Singapore via Madurai. As of now, the service operates four days a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Starting March 25, it will become a daily service.
Flight IX-484 departs from Kochi at 1110 and arrives in Madurai at 1155; it then takes off from Madurai at 1310 and lands at Singapore’s Changi airport at 2010.
On the return, Flight IX-483 departs from Singapore at 2115 and arrives in Madurai at 2305; it then leaves Madurai at 0015 and lands in Kochi at 0100.
The low-cost airline of the national carrier also plans to start a Kochi-Kuwait-Dammam service next month.
