Singapore Airlines’ frequent-flyer programme, Krisflyer, is awarding 100,000 miles to one member per month from now to March 31, 2018.

There are three ways members can be eligible to win the draw: purchasing a Singapore Airlines or Silkair ticket; buying a PlusPerks bundle with the group’s budget subsidiary Scoot; and purchasing items at the online KrisShop.

While the odds of winning are slim, the good news is that any purchase, regardless of cost, can entitle members to be entered into the draw. Each member’s chances are also equal, as multiple purchases don’t increase your odds of receiving the miles.

One winner has already been selected for February – selection was on February 7 – and there will be two more winners selected on March 7 and April 6, 2018. Winners will be informed by email within 10 working days.

It’s worth noting that any travel booked that results in a win will have to be completed before the miles can be redeemed.

This time last month, Singapore Airlines introduced new redemption names and fare classes. While the airline didn’t change the amount of miles required to redeem reward tickets, it did adjust perks such as advance seat selection and baggage allowance depending on the award ticket redeemed.

Business Traveller has compiled a comprehensive overview of the changes.
