Members of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts’ rewards programme, Golden Circle, can get triple the usual amount of points when booking through the group’s newly relaunched app.
The promotion began yesterday and will run until April 30. Members get an automatic 100 Golden Circle Award Points just for downloading and signing into the Shangri-La app. This can be repeated across multiple devices, though the bonus points are only accrued once per device.
Double points are awarded for making a Golden Circle booking via the new app, but to get triple points members will also need to use mobile check-in and check-out.
Both iOS and Android devices can download the app, which is available on iTunes, Google Play.
According to the hotel group, consumer research was conducted to inform the app’s functionality. These include quick booking, mobile check-in and check-out, Golden Circle account management, and rewards redemptions.
The app also features best available rates, promotions and corporate rates, and information about each of the group’s hotels and their surrounding areas.
