Low-cost carrier IndiGo Airlines will launch new daily non-stop flights to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh and Hyderabad in Telangana. The new routes will see maiden flights starting December 29, 2017. It will operate its Airbus A320 on these routes.
Passengers from the middle east can connect to a number of destinations on IndiGo Airlines’ network from Hyderabad and Lucknow through connection flights – including Kolkata, Kochi, Goa, Tirupati, Rajahmundry, Patna, Mangalore, Visakhapatnam, Chennai, Raipur and Bhubaneswar.
We are the first Indian carrier operating Sharjah flight from Hyderabad and also starting first and only Lucknow-Sharjah connection. These new flights will also open up immense connectivity to and fro for other cities on our network, supported by our 147 Airbus A320 strong fleet,” says Sanjay Kumar, chief commercial officer at IndiGo Airlines.
