Hainan Airlines has taken delivery of its new A330-300, with a total 11 on order.
The aircraft has 303 seats, consisting of 24 in business class in a 1-2-1 setup and 279 in economy arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration.

Hainan Airlines has retained its red and grey colour palette from its older A330s for its business class cabin. Unlike the older aircraft, the Super Diamond seats on the new A330-300s are arranged in a herringbone setup and have a 45-inch seat pitch when in the upright position. Each seat can be reclined to a two-metre-long flatbed, however.

Seats are equipped with 15.4-inch Thales AVANT touchscreen IFE systems and there is also a touchscreen remote, a 19×17-inch table and three storage compartments.
These new aircraft are also Hainan Airlines’ first to feature a rice cooker and cooking pan in the business class galley. The airline hasn’t unveiled an in-flight menu for the new A330-300 flights, though presumably it will include some dishes freshly prepared on the aircraft.

Economy class seats also feature touchscreen Thales AVANT TV screens, though these are smaller at 10.1 inches. Seats have a pitch of 31 inches, which is relatively standard though not especially spacious.

Hainan Airlines hasn’t yet revealed when the aircraft is set to officially enter service nor on which routes the aircraft will be operating.
