Low-cost carrier AirAsia India has inducted a new Airbus A320 aircraft in its fleet along with the launch of a new route between Hyderabad and Bhubaneshwar. The airline also plans to introduce flights between Ranchi and Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar, besides scaling up the frequency between Bengaluru and Hyderabad route. In tune with the government’s push for regional connectivity, the airline further has plans to improve connectivity  to Jaipur and Bhubaneshwar from Bengaluru.

Effective from January 1, the new route runs daily.  Flight I5-1568  departs Bhubaneshwar at 0915 and arrives in Hyderabad at 1055, return flight I5-1564 departs Hyderabad at 1125 and arrives in Bhubaneswar at 1300.

Passengers can avail fares as low as ₹1,999 and for ₹3,499 for the newly-announced flight.

AirAsia India currently flies to Kochi, Goa, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Pune, Guwahati, Imphal, Vizag, Hyderabad, Srinagar, Bagdogra, Ranchi and Bhubaneswar from its three hubs Bengaluru, Delhi and Kolkata.
