IHG’s Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts brand has added three new properties to its portfolio in the last month.
The 889-room Intercontinental Los Angeles Downtown is housed within the Wilshire Grand Centre, the tallest building on the US West Coast, and situated in the city’s financial district.
The hotel occupies floors 31-73 of the building, and features a swimming pool, Club Intercontinental Lounge, and five food and beverage outlets including Spire 73, an open-air bar on the 73rd floor.
The property joins the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City in Beverly Hills, and a total of 45 IHG properties in the LA area.
Intercontinental Perth City Centre is the brand’s sixth hotel in Australia, joining properties in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast.
Previously managed under the Rydges brand, the refurbished hotel features 240 rooms, a business centre, four meeting rooms and lobby bar The Loft.
Finally Intercontinental Singapore Robertson Quay is the second hotel under the brand in the island city state, and is located on the waterfront of the Singapore River, close to Singapore’s central business district.
Features include 225 rooms, a Club Intercontinental Lounge, four food and beverage options, a swimming pool and fitness centre.
