Accorhotels has opened two new adjacent properties under its Novotel and Mercure brands as part of an integrated lifestyle hub in the city’s Orchard District that offers a total of 772 guestrooms and 14 dining outlets.
Taking their names from their location on Stevens Road, a short distance from the city’s popular Orchard Road, the Novotel Singapore on Stevens and the larger Mercure Singapore on Stevens each have their own F&B offerings, though the majority are housed in what Accorhotels describes as nine “pods”, offering local and international cuisine.

The Novotel Singapore on Stevens has three additional offerings: European and Asian tapas at L’Aperitif Tapas Bar; Food Exchange, offering everything from Thai and Indian to European and Singaporean fare; and Novotel Infinity Pool where guests can get a poolside cocktail. Meanwhile, the Mercure Singapore on Stevens has just two – superfood outlet Fudebar and Mediterranean restaurant Winestone.
Although the Mercure has fewer dedicated dining options, it is by far the larger when it comes to room count, housing 518 of the 772 rooms, compared with the Novotel’s 254 guestrooms.

According to Kevin Bossino, vice president of operations, Singapore for midscale and economy brands, Accorhotels is “no longer just providing a place to rest but a lifestyle and gastronomic destination where fitness enthusiasts, corporate travellers, families, local residents and foodies can enjoy our range of facilities and great restaurants”.
Aside from F&B, the complex also features two outdoor pools as well as a tennis court. On the events side, there’s also a function space able to accommodate more than 500 people.
As part of the opening, Accorhotels is offering a special rate until March 31 next year. A one-night stay in a superior room at Novotel Singapore on Stevens starts at S$208++ (US$153++) including breakfast for two, while a stay at Mercure Singapore on Stevens begins at S$155++ (US$114++) per night, also including breakfast.
