Marriott has opened its third UK property, located in the Scottish city of Aberdeen.
The 126-unit Residence Inn Aberdeen is housed within the mixed use Marischal Square development, around half a mile from the city’s main railway station and close to Aberdeen Maritime Museum.
Studio and one-bedroom suites offer fully-equipped kitchens with fridge, hob, microwave and dishwasher, while hotel facilities include a 24-hour lobby, free self-service laundry, a restaurant and Grab n Go market shop and fitness centre.
Guests also have access to regular “Residence Inn Mix nights”, offering drinks and canapes in the reception area.

Commenting on the opening John Licence, VP Premium and Select Brands Europe at Marriott International said:
“Globally the extended stay category makes up one third of all business travel room nights, with 34 per cent of those room nights spent in Europe.
“We are delighted to respond to this growing demand with the introduction of the Residence Inn by Marriott brand to such a strategic long-stay destination as Aberdeen.”
Residence Inn Aberdeen joins the existing Residence Inn Edinburgh and the recently opened Residence Inn London Bridge, with a second London property scheduled to open in Kensington in 2018.
