Ethiopian Airlines’ B787-9 Dreamliner, the youngest aircraft that joined its fleet on October 272017, made its debut flight to India’s capital city of New Delhi.

Ethiopian has named one of its twenty B 787-8 aircraft after India’s Taj Mahal. The African airline’s presence in India dates back to the 1970’s. It currently operates 29 weekly scheduled passenger and cargo flights to India’s major cities of Mumbai, Delhi and Ahmedabad.

Ethiopian Airlines fleet includes Airbus A350, Boeing 787, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 777-200LR, Boeing 777-200 Freighter and Bombardier Q-400 double cabin with an average fleet age of five years.
