Members of Norwegian’s loyalty programme are now able to earn points from purchases made with Groupon UK.

Norwegian Reward members can earn up to 10 per cent of any Groupon UK purchase in the value of Cashpoints, the loyalty programme’s currency. The points can be used toward the cost of flights and extra services such as baggage fees, meal services and seat reservations.

Managing director of Norwegian Reward, Brede Huser, said:

“Groupon reflects Norwegian Reward’s emphasis on giving consumers cost savings and better value whether shopping for amazing experiences or flights and holidays.”

Launched in 2009, the rewards scheme currently has 5.5 million members worldwide and nearly one million UK members. Members are given a “reward” after every sixth flight, with the option to choose from free seat reservations, free baggage and a 2 per cent Cashpoint bonus.
