Emirates is set to add three extra flights per week to the Swedish capital.

From December 8, the new flights will serve Stockholm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, departing Dubai at 1500 and arriving at Stockholm Arlanda airport at 1845. The return leg will depart Stockholm at 2110, arriving at Dubai International airport at 0630 the next day.

The airline says that the timing of the extra flights will provide better connections between Stockholm and several East Asian and African destinations, including Ho Chi Minh City, Colombo, Manila and Cape Town.

The current existing daily flight schedule sees flight EK 157 departing Dubai at 0810 and arriving in Stockholm at 1155 while the return flight EK158 departs Stockholm at 1335, landing in Dubai at 2255.
