Ibis Styles has opened its first property in the US, located less than a mile from New York’s LaGuardia airport.
The design of the 93-room hotel has taken inspiration from the city’s subway system, with artwork in the public areas which “take cues from the colorful emblems, stations and route maps”, while rooms feature colours from four of the subway lines – green, yellow, red and blue – and walls decorated with subway maps.
In-room amenities include 26-inch TVs, a desk, free wifi and the brand’s signature Sweet Bed by Ibis Styles, and Metrocard Lounge serves “authentic street-inspired snacks”, and free buffet breakfast for all guests.

Ibis Styles New York LaGuardia Airport is located within a property previously housing the LaGuardia Airport Hotel, around 0.7 miles south of the airport on Grand Central Parkway.
The hotel joins 339 Ibis Styles properties across 30 countries. Part of the budget Ibis family of brands, the Ibis Styles offering was launched in 2011 when Accorhotels rebranded its All Seasons portfolio.
