Marriott has opened the first Residence Inn property in London, located to the south of London Bridge station.
The hotel offers a mixture of 87 studio, one and two-bedroom suites with kitchens offering a fridge, microwave, hob, oven, dishwasher and cookware.
Amenities include free wifi and hot breakfast, communal laundry facilities, a Grab ‘n Go Market and a fitness centre.
Residence Inn London Bridge is situated on Long Lane, around half a mile’s walk from London Bridge station.
The hotel will be joined by a second Residence Inn property later this year, when the 307-suite Residence Inn London Kensington opens on Warwick Road in Earls Court.
The brand also operates a 107-suite hotel in Edinburgh, and will add an Aberdeen property in 2018. A 92-suite Residence Inn hotel is also under development in the Berkshire town of Slough.
Commenting on the opening John Licence, VP Premium and Select Brands Europe at Marriott International said:
“London is a key, strategic destination for extended-stay travel and we are delighted to debut the world-leading Residence Inn by Marriott brand here with not one, but two new properties that offer a home-away-from-home experience for business and leisure guests alike.”
