Jetstar Asia has just got a new membership programme in the form of a revamped Club Jetstar.

Originally launched in 2014 in Singapore, the revamped Club Jetstar scheme is a year-long membership that enables members to get access to various benefits and discounted add-ons. Among these are exclusive fares on select flights across the Jetstar network (this includes Asia, Australia and Japan), as well as a 20 per cent discount on baggage and seat selection.

These benefits can be utilised by up to four passengers travelling together, provided the Club Jetstar member is travelling with them on the same booking.

Members will also be given priority access the airline’s major sales, along with any partner offers.

“Club Jetstar is the only programme offered by a low-cost carrier in Asia which gives members unbeatable lobangs [deals], and we are very excited to launch this privilege in Singapore, where savvy customers will be sure to sign up in a heartbeat and save when they fly with Jetstar, whether they’re travelling in Asia, Australia or Japan,” said Chantal van Wijnbergen, regional marketing manager, SEA for Jetstar.

Club Jetstar costs S$48 (US$35) to join for the first year, followed by a S$49 (US$36) annual membership fee for each year after that.

As part of the launch, Jetstar Asia is also awarding five prizes comprising S$2,500 (US$1,828) of Jetstar vouchers to travellers that share their best money-saving tips.

Both Jetstar Asia and Jetstar Airways have launched the revised programme, with Jetstar Japan set to follow suit in the near future.
