JetBlue will significantly expand the availability of its premium Mint class of service in 2018, adding new destinations and routes and expanding Mint service on some existing routes currently served by the airline’s A321 aircraft.

The number of daily flights with Mint service will be stepped up to 80 per day on 20 routes next year, according to a JetBlue press statement. Mint will be available on  flights between Boston and Las Vegas beginning January 4, 2018, between Boston and Seattle starting February 15, 2018, and between New York (JFK) and Seattle as of April 15, 2018.

Additional Mint flights will be added on JetBlue’s New York-Los Angeles (LAX) and Boston-San Francisco routes, as well as on Saturday Caribbean flights between New York and St. Maarten (commencing January 13, 2018), Boston and Aruba, and Boston and St. Maarten (both starting February 17, 2018).

JetBlue’s Mint service features lie-flat seating, cocktail service, and tapas-style dining.

“We’re bringing even more Mint to markets in every corner of our route map where travelers are overdue for an upgrade to the so-called ‘first-class’ flights offered by other airlines,” said Marty St. George, executive vice president of commercial and planning for JetBlue.
