Jet Airways has announced 14 new direct flights on its domestic network for the monsoon schedule. The full-service Indian airline has strategically chosen cities that have been showing steady economic progress.

A press release by Jet Airways states: “The airline has been witnessing steady growth in guest traffic, primarily in northern India, especially between cities such as Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Udaipur and Indore. The new flights will deepen Jet Airways’ domestic footprint, helping it support and facilitate travel aspirations of its guests from these regions.”

The expansion includes an increase in frequencies such as a second flight between Bengaluru and Guwahati, a third frequency between Delhi and Indore, a seventh frequency between Delhi and Lucknow, and Delhi and Jaipur, and a second flight between Delhi and Udaipur.
