Skyteam has launched a new two-stop option to its range of round-the-world passes.

The alliance says the new option is “perfect for regular travellers who require multi-destinations itineraries”, and “the perfect solution for those with important meetings in one country, one afternoon, and a presentation in another the same week”.

The pass can be booked up to seven days in advance, for travel on any of Skyteam’s 20 member carriers, in economy, business or first class.

The alliance gives the example of a two-stop itinerary, starting in New York, travelling to Paris, onto Shanghai and then back to New York, with an economy fare starting from US$5,650.

The new two-stop option means customers can now choose Skyteam Go Round The World Pass itineraries from between two and 15 stops.

The alliance recently announced plans to open its first branded airport lounge in North America, scheduled to open by the end of the year at Vancouver International.
