Emirates has opened its latest airport lounge at Boston Logan International.
The US$6.7 million facility had a soft opening in April, but has only now been officially unveiled by the carrier, marking the 41st Emirates lounge worldwide and fourth in the US.
The 695 sqm lounge is located on the upper level of Terminal E, overlooking gate E-11, and offers boarding directly from the lounge.
Features include shower facilities (with a new range of spa products from Irish brand Voya), a dining area with complimentary beverages and hot and cold buffet dishes, a business centre, free wifi throughout, a prayer room and and seating for 123 passengers.
The opening follows the carrier’s recent decision to cuts the frequency of its Dubai-Boston service from twice daily to daily.
Mohammed H Mattar, Emirates’ divisional senior vice president airport services said that the new lounge was “a demonstration of our ongoing commitment to serving passengers traveling through our US gateways”.
