Dubai-based carrier Emirates is now flying daily between Dubai and Phnom Penh in Cambodia, following the launch on Sunday of a new service that flies via Yangon in Myanmar.

The route brings Emirates’ overall network in Southeast Asia to 13 destinations and is the carrier’s first to Cambodia. The airline is operating the route using its B777-300ER, of which it has close to about 130 – Emirates has a fleet comprised exclusively of B777s and A380 superjumbos.

Emirates originally announced the new Phnom Penh service back in February, and it was intended to launch alongside a new non-stop route between Dubai and Hanoi (Emirates has not announced the launch of this new non-stop Hanoi service, however flights are currently available to book on the airline’s website).
