Fairfield by Marriott has opened in the capital of Nepal. The hotel is located in the tourist district of Thamel, and is a short distance from Unesco sites like Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupathinath temple and Swo.

The 115 rooms of the hotel feature spacious work-desks and flat-screen televisions.

It houses Kava, an all-day dining restaurant and lobby lounge serving cocktails, tea and coffee.

The property’s business centre and meeting rooms are equipped with the latest audio visual facilities. Wifi is free and there is a fitness centre, however there is no swimming pool.

“There is a lot of enthusiasm and excitement as we launch the Fairfield by Marriott brand in Nepal. We aim to set the standards of delivering a great hotel experience at an affordable price point, through consistent and reliable service that comes from being a part of Marriott International,” says Prakash Jayadevan, general manager at Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu.
