Residence Inn by Marriott has signed two new properties in London.
The extended stay brand’s first property in the capital, the Residence Inn London – London Bridge is set to open in Q2 this year, followed shortly by the Residence Inn London – Kensington, expected in Q4.
Located in Southwark, Residence Inn London – London Bridge will have 87 suites within walking distance of Tower Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral, while the 307-suite Residence Inn London – Kensington will be on Warwick Road in Earls Court, ten-minutes’ walk from Kensington Olympia Exhibition Centre and a short drive from the V&A museum and Royal Albert Hall.

Both properties will offer a grocery delivery service, a gym, a 24-hour shop, free breakfast and wifi.
The openings will be joined by new properties due in Aberdeen and Amsterdam, increasing the brand’s European portfolio from three to seven hotels this year.
Chief development officer at Marriott International, Europe, Carlton Ervin said:
“Residence Inn is already the global leader in the extended stay lodging segment, and we’re excited that 2017 is set to be a pivotal year for the brand in Europe. We see these latest signings as a fantastic opportunity to grow the brand in such a strategic global destination.”
The four new hotels planned for 2017 will see 600 rooms added to the brand’s portfolio, with a further eight properties expected by 2019.
