Eva Air has introduced its latest aircraft livery featuring a character from Japanese company Sanrio, known for popular cartoon characters such as Hello Kitty. The new Bad Badtz-Maru livery features Sanrio’s black-and-white penguin character and has been launched on the airline’s Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

Configured with 309 seats – 30 in business and 279 in economy class – the Badtz-Maru Travel Fun Jet will fly daily on Eva Air’s routes between Taipei and Fukuoka and Seoul. In addition to the exterior livery design, the aircraft will also offer passengers Bad Badtz-Maru in-flight service items and amenities sporting the character, including pillows, slippers, headrest covers, playing cards, meal boxes, postcards, safety cards and disposable hand towels.

Eva Air first launched its Sanrio Family jets in 2005 sporting the company’s most popular character, Hello Kitty. Since then the airline has unveiled numerous additional liveries, including its recent Gudetama-liveried A321-200 which launched on its regional and short-haul routes within Asia in November last year.
