Doubltree by Hilton has opened a property in New York’s Times Square.
Housed in a new-build on 350 West 40th Street, the 37-storey hotel features 612 rooms offering views across the city or the Hudson River, plus a restaurant, rooftop lounge and meeting space.
Executive chef to the New York Yankees and New York Giants Brian Pancir has curated menus for all-day dining Magnolia Restaurant, which has a bar and outdoor dining space. Designed by the interiors team at Gene Kaufman Architects, the space features white brick, polished brass and rich wood accents with camel brown leather and cream linen textiles throughout.
On the 36th floor, the Lovage Rooftop and Indoor Lounge offers panoramic views across the city with five-metre floor-to-ceiling windows, a glass roof and fireplace alongside walnut herringbone, polished cement and Christian Lacroix fabrics used in the interior décor.

Furnished with theatre-inspired artwork, rooms come with Doubletree’s signature “Sweet Dreams Sleep Experience” beds, a work-desk, in-room tea and coffee by The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf company and amenities from Crabtree and Evelyn.
There is also a 24-hour Made Market Pantry on site offering snacks, sandwiches, salads, beer and wine. For events, the hotel can hold up to 75 guests in 100 sqm of meeting space, equipped with A/V facilities and a 24-hour business centre.
Until April 30, Hilton Honors members can earn an extra 1,000 Hilton Honors Points per night when booking directly with Hilton. Gold and Diamond members will be offered free wifi and upgrades, subject to availability, to the hotel’s Hilton Honors floor and a complimentary breakfast.
