Hilton’s Doubletree brand has added it latest London property, located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

Previously a Mercure-branded hotel, the Doubletree by Hilton London Greenwich is located on Catherine Grove close to Deptford Bridge station on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), and around half a mile from Greenwich rail and DLR stations.

The hotel is housed within a 1940s building which was formerly a police section house, and features include 147 renovated rooms, as well as Oasis O1 restaurant, O1 Bar, two meetings rooms, a fitness centre and an eighth floor viewing deck.

It is the first Hilton-branded property in Greenwich, and the latest of around 15 Doubletree properties in the capital.

Commenting on the rebranding Rory O’Leary, general manager of Doubletree by Hilton Greenwich said:

“We are certain this hotel is going to meet the needs of all travellers, whether the guest is heading to a concert at the nearby O2 arena, in town for an exhibit at the Excel Conference and Event Centre, or visiting the financial centre in Canary Wharf, we are the perfect fit.”
