Accorhotels is to add a Novotel property close to Stansted airport later this year, with the rebranding of the existing Hilton London Stansted Airport (pictured above).
Located around five minutes from the airport terminal, the hotel was purchased by the Arora Group last year, and is set to undergo a “major renovation programme” over the coming months, including the addition of the new Novotel ‘N room’ concept.
The property will relaunch as the Novotel London Stansted this summer, and will offer 239 rooms, a restaurant, bar, and meeting and leisure facilities.
It will operate under a franchise agreement with Arora Hotels, which already operates two Accorhotels airport properties – the Sofitel London Gatwick, and the Sofitel London Heathrow.
Novotel is also set to open other London properties this year – the 39-floor Novotel Canary Wharf, and the Novotel London Heathrow Bath Road.
The brand currently has 33 hotels in the UK and 428 worldwide.
