Easyhotel is to open its latest UK property next month, located on John Bright Street close to Birmingham New Street station.

The 86-room Easyhotel Birmingham will open on February 9, and will offer a mixture of standard rooms (with or without windows) measuring 9-11 sqm, twin rooms with windows (10-12 sqm), family rooms with windows (14 sqm), and wheelchair accessible rooms with windows (13 sqm).

All rooms feature air conditioning and ensuite showers, and rates start from £19.99 per night.

Commenting on the opening Guy Parsons, Easyhotel’s CEO, said:

“The opening of Easyhotel Birmingham marks an exciting time for the brand. We are expanding rapidly both in the UK and across Europe, and I’m delighted that Birmingham is the first city to open this year.

“Birmingham is a vibrant city with a rich history and so much to see and do. Along with its six universities and internationally reputed arts scene, the city is also the UK’s fourth largest tourist destination.

“We are confident that Easyhotel will appeal to business customers and leisure visitors alike and look forward to building our brand presence in the city.”

Easyhotel currently has UK properties in London, Croydon, Heathrow, Luton, Edinburgh and Glasgow, with further hotels set to open in Manchester and Liverpool this year.

The group also has a portfolio of properties across six European countries, as well as in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone.
