Intercontinental Hotels Group is to rebrand the Felbridge Hotel and Spa in East Grinstead under its Crowne Plaza offering.
Located around eight miles from Gatwick airport, the 116-room hotel is currently undergoing a £3 million “stylish top-to-toe upgrade”, which is due to be completed in early April.
The hotel’s guest rooms, public areas, restaurant, meeting rooms, and events spaces are all being refurbished, and the property’s Chakra Spa (which offers five treatment rooms, a gym, indoor pool and steam room) is also being given a “facelift”.
New facilities include a glass-walled private dining area which has been added within the hotel’s Bay Tree Restaurant, “enabling guests to be part of the main restaurant but maintain privacy”. Other facilities include free wifi and on-site parking, and a club lounge.
