Soho House and Co has released new images of its latest project, The Ned hotel, which is set to open this April.

Located in the former Midland Bank building near Bank underground station, The Ned will feature 252 bedrooms decked out in 1920s vintage furnishings, hand-knotted rugs and rainforest showers, while facilities include a rooftop pool, gym, spa, hammam and late night lounge bar.

There will be nine restaurants housed within the former Grand Banking Hall, including a new Cecconi’s City of London to join its sister venue in Mayfair, plus venues serving cuisine from the UK to Northern Italy, North America and Asia.

  • Impressive looking interiors. I suspect that this will become a destination hotel, somewhere for a celebration weekend, but probably not the sort of place you stay when you are travelling on business and all you want is a good night’s sleep and a decent breakfast

  • Looks lovely – shame about the name though, can’t imagine any Scots will pay premium price to stay at a Ned hotel! To us, a Ned hotel sounds like a euphemism for a young offenders institute….
