Intercontinental Hotels Group has added the latest London property under its Holiday Inn brand.

The group has rebranded the former Kensington Close Hotel on Wrights Lane close to High Street Kensington station, as the Holiday Inn London Kensignton.

At 708 rooms the hotel is now one of the largest Holiday Inn properties in Europe, with features including free wifi, Boulevard Restaurant, 13 meeting rooms and Imagine health Club and Spa offering an 18-metre swimming pool, steam room, spa bath, sauna and gym.

According to the Kensington Close Hotel website, the guest rooms at the hotel have been “recently redesigned”, with “newly built” executive rooms.

Commenting on the rebranding Mike Greenup, vice president brand management, for Holiday Inn said:
