Marriott is to add to four new Asian properties to its Autograph Collection brand early next year.

The collection of independent hotels will welcome The Shanhaitian Resort Sanya, located in the Da Dong Hai Bay area on Hainan island, the Art Deco The Majestic Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the chic urban Hotel Stripes (also in Kuala Lumpur), and the RYSE hotel in Seoul, located in the city’s Hongdae district.

Commenting on the additions Mike Fulkerson, Vice President of Brand Marketing, Asia Pacific, Marriott International said:

“We are thrilled to have this vital opportunity to continue growing Autograph Collection’s brand presence in Asia. The exponential amount of growth in the region over the last few years, particularly in China, offers rich development opportunities for the brand – and we believe these four properties will open even more doors for the collection.”

There are currently four Autograph Collection properties in the Asia-Pacific region: The Stones Hotel – Legian Bali, The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo, The Plaza Seoul, and Pier One Sydney Harbour.

London’s boutique Hotel Xenia recently joined the portfolio, becoming the third Autograph Collection property in the capital along with St Ermin’s and Threadneedles.
