Yotel has officially launched its new brand for the group’s airport properties, with the opening of the first  Yotel Air at Paris CDG.

Located inside Terminal 2E as part of the new Instant Paris transit lounge area, it is the first airside hotel at the airport.

The 80-cabin property features rooms bookable by the hour, a Mission Control reception area with flight information, a vending wall for items including drinks, snacks, chargers, adaptors and toothbrush kits, and a club lounge with free hot drinks, USB charging points and free wifi.

All cabins feature monsoon rain showers, adjustable smartbeds with Serta gel matresses, mood lighting and HD TVs which can be connected to guests’ devices.

Yotel unveiled the Yotel Air brand earlier this year, which has been developed to differentiate its airport properties from existing and forthcoming city centre hotel including the 669-room Yotel New York.

Commenting on the new brand Hubert Viriot, CEO of Yotel said:

“It was very important to us to recognise that our Yotel city and airport locations provide different experiences, with our airport hotels designed around the needs of travellers looking for convenience. Yotel Air has the essential elements of the Yotel brand: a seamless experience combined with the technology to ensure that you have everything you need and nothing you don’t.

“Nearly a quarter of people going through Aéroports de Paris are connecting passengers. We are committed to making the transfer experience at Paris, Charles de Gaulle one of the best in the world and are delighted to be part of the new ‘Instant Paris’transit area, with the launch of the airport’s first in-terminal hotel.”
