The Hoxton hotel group is to open its first properties in Paris and New York in 2017.

The Hoxton, Paris is scheduled to open in late spring, occupying a 16th century building in the city’s 2nd arrondisement. Features will include 172 rooms, a restaurant, a speakeasy, a café-cum-tabac, and The Apartment meeting and events space.

Also due to open in 2017 is The Hoxton, Williamsburg, offering 175 rooms, ground level restaurant and courtyard, a rooftop bar and restaurant, a 2nd floor external terrace, and The Apartment meeting and events space.

The Hoxton opened its first property in London’s Shoreditch in 2006, followed by a second London hotel In Holborn in 2014, and most recently The Hoxton, Amsterdam.

The group described its properties as “A series of open house hotels inspired by the diversity and originality of the streets and scenes that surround them”, with “welcoming public spaces and an eclectic series of monthly events, that bring the outside in, by working with local creatives”.
