Enterprise Car Club has expanded its number of vehicles in Birmingham from six to 15, with locations throughout the city.

The car rental company offers 950 self-service vehicles in 19 cities across Great Britain, and was known as City Car Club before Enterprise Holdings purchased it in 2015.

Of the nine new Birmingham cars and vans, three will be based at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car office, two will be based near the Broadway property development at Fiveways, one will be based at Birmingham University and three will be based in other locations.

Enterprise Car Club Business Development Sales Manager Keith Kelly said, “Access to a ‘virtual car’ means business and residents no longer have to worry if they don’t have a vehicle when they need one. We see this expansion plan as an important step in delivering car club services across the city, and wherever possible, integrated with local transport hubs and services.”

All cars are available for anywhere from a single hour to several days. Membership costs £7 per month, or £6 per month for those under 22 years old.

Members can book either online, by phone or at any of Enterprise’s offices. Rental rates start at £4.95 hourly and £39.95 daily, with a mileage fee starting at £0.41 per mile.
