The Maritim Hotel Stuttgart has reopened after 18 months of renovation. The hotel is the largest of the group’s 34 hotels in Germany and 4 across the globe, with 555 rooms including 78 suites.

Three different types of rooms are offered, all of which are 28 sqm, equipped with a safe and a flat screen television with 80 channels.

The lowest-priced Classic rooms are located on floors 1-3, while Comfort and Superior rooms are located in the Business wing and the upper floors of the Park wing with better views and more lavish interiors.

The Maritim also offers three types of suites of increasing size and opulence, all of which feature a bedroom and separate living area, marble bathrooms, and two flat screen televisions with 80 channels.

Junior suites are 40-45 sqm,  Classic suites are 65 sqm with a bath and separate shower, and Luxury suites are 85 sqm with a bath and separate shower, views of Stuttgart’s vineyards and fresh fruit and mineral water delivered daily

Five rooms are disabled-friendly, but all are wheelchair compatible. Smoking is permitted in 43 of the rooms.

Additional features include three restaurants, a café and bar, a swimming pool, fitness centre, beauty lounge, and free access to internet via cable or Wi-Fi.

The renovations updated and modernised the entire hotel and were completed in August.

The Maritim Hotel is a short walk from the city centre and Stuttgart’s shopping district known as the Königsstrasse, with views overlooking Hoppenlau Park.

The hotel also has an direct underground link to the Liederhalle Culture and Convention Centre, which can accommodate up to 2200 visitors.

Rates start at €108.30 per night in a single Classic Room.
