American Airlines has reopened its Arrivals Lounge at Terminal 3 Heathrow.

The lounge has been closed for several months but reopened at the end of last week. The new lounge now has

  • 29 spa showers featuring C.O. Bigelow products
  • Valet ironing services
  • Dental & shaving kits (by request)
  • Full breakfast & lunch buffet
  • Coffee, espresso & champagne bar
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • A business centre

The menus have been changed and now include more fresh breakfast and lunch options. Catering is by Rhubarb which also provides catering at the Sky Garden restaurant in London. The menu will alternate every four weeks.

Dishes include eggs benedict with York ham; superfood salad with broad beans, avocado, pomegranate and organic seeds; and mango and lemon poached chicken with lemon thyme scented couscous. Healthy options include fresh fruit smoothies; protein pancakes and gluten-free options such as tomato, feta and basil salad with sumac dressing.

The lounge is to the right of the Terminal 3 Customs Hall. Take the stairs or lift to Level 2. The lounge is open from 5 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. daily.

To gain access customers must be arriving on a same-day flight, and be flying in first or business, or be AAdvantage Executive Platinum/oneworld Emerald members, British Airways Premier members are also eligible for entry

AA has up to 19 daily flights from London Heathrow Airport to the U.S including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Charlotte and Raleigh.

When combined with the inventory of British Airways, American’s transatlantic joint-business partner, the two carriers offer 60,000 fully-flat business and first class seats each week between London and the US.
