A first of its kind, much-awaited Tamil film Kabali might be screened across hotels in Bengaluru, July 22 onwards for three days.

The filmmakers have collaborated with some of the leading hotels in the city such as JW Marriott, The Lalit Ashok, Royal Orchid and Crowne Plaza for the screening of the film starring Indian superstar Rajinikanth.

Canon-screens will be fitted in the properties’ conference rooms. Four shows with seating capacities of 300 each will be held everyday.

The film distributors are awaiting approvals from the Bengaluru Urban deputy commissioner and other government agencies to proceed with the plan.

The movie is also being promoted through Air Asia India. The airline will fly a special Bengaluru-Chennai service on the movie’s release date with an aircraft painted with the artwork of the film.
