Cathay Pacific lounge in Frankfurt reopens

17 Nov 2011

Cathay Pacific has reopened its first and business class lounge at Frankfurt International Airport's Terminal 2, after a three-month long extensive refurbishment project that aligned its quality and design with that of the carrier’s lounges in Hong Kong.

The remodelled lounge now boasts the same minimalist and contemporary décor as The Wing, The Pier and The Cabin at Hong Kong International Airport. For example, the Carrara white marble reception and the Long Table are two concepts that have been adopted from The Wing. Furthermore, a new snack bar has been added at the front of the lounge and art pieces by Maria Lobo, designed specially for the airline, punctuate the surroundings.

This 370 sqm lounge, which can accommodate more than 97 people, offers three shower units, workstations consisting of desktop computers and printers, and free wifi access throughout.

The lounge, open from 0600 to 1400 and from 1800 until midnight, is for first and business class passengers, Marco Polo Club members with silver-tier status or above and oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members.
