Some two million promotional business and economy class seats are currently up for grabs as part of Malaysian carrier Malindo Air’s Mid-Year Mega Sales offering.
Running until May 21 for travel between July 1, 2017 and March 31, 2018, the promotion comprises one-way fares departing Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Eligible flights include domestic Malaysian services, as well as to international destinations in Australia, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
According to Malindo Air’s CEO Chandran Rama Muthy, the promotion also includes flights going in the opposite direction. “In order to add in more excitement, we have also launched our global sales concurrently for flights from Singapore, Australia, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and Pakistan, to Kuala Lumpur for both economy and business class seats.”
One-way prices begin at RM69 (US$16) for the most short-haul economy class flights such as Singapore and Bangkok, while longer-haul flights to destinations such as Hong Kong, Taipei and Perth begin at RM279 (US$65) for economy class seats and RM649 (US$150) for business class fares.
Also included in the promotion is one of the airline’s newest destinations, Brisbane, which Malindo Air began flying to at the end of March.
