On March 26, UAE’s flagship carrier, Etihad Airways will launch its third service between Abu Dhabi and Bengaluru.

A two-class Airbus 321 will depart late night from Abu Dhabi, and early morning from Bengaluru.

Flight EY 216 will depart from Abu Dhabi at 2145 and arrive in Bengaluru at 0315 the next day. Return flight EY 217 will take off from Bengaluru at 0435 and land in Abu Dhabi at 0705.

Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways’ CEO said: “Our expanded services between Abu Dhabi and Bengaluru are in line with Etihad Airways’ strategy to offer greater travel options when aircraft availability and market conditions permit. The extra flights to Bengaluru will cater to the strong demand between both cities, and bring closer our global network to and from Bengaluru over our Abu Dhabi hub.”

The other two services between the cities take off from Abu Dhabi at 0245 (A320) and 1425 (A321), and land in Bengaluru at 0815 and 1955 respectively. The return services take off from Bengaluru at 0955 and 2210 and land at 1225 and 0040 respectively.

Other Indian cities to which Etihad Airways has direct flights from Abu Dhabi: Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Mumbai, Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
