Hainan Airlines will launch flights from Xian and Changsha to Melbourne on November 8 and 9, respectively.
Both routes will be operated by a 222-seat A330-200, offering 36 business class seats configured in a 2-2-2 setup, and 186 economy seats in a 2-4-2 arrangement.
HU7901 will depart Xian Xianyang International Airport on Tuesday and Friday at 1630 and arrive at Melbourne International Airport at 0700 the following day. The return flight HU7902 will leave Australia at 0900, and touch down in China at 1730.
Meanwhile, flight HU483 will take off from Changsha Huanghua International Airport on Wednesday and Sunday at 1745, landing in the Australian city at 0700 the following morning. Return flight HU484 will then depart at 0900 and arrive back in Changsha at 1620.
Earlier this month, the airline also launched flights from Xian and Changsha to Sydney.
