Next month, on September 15, Air India Express will launch a service between Tiruchirappalli (Tiruchi) in Tamil Nadu and Sharjah in the UAE. A Boeing 738 will fly this route.
Low-cost carrier, Air India Express is a wholly owned subsidiary of government-owned Air India.
Daily flight IX-613 will depart from Tiruchirappalli at 0330 and land in Sharjah at 0620.
Return flight IX-614 will take off from Sharjah at 2050 and land in Tiruchirappalli at 0230.
Existing international flights by Air India Express from Tiruchirappalli are to:
- Dubai – IX-611 depart 0055, arrive 0420 (non-stop, daily)
- Kuala Lumpur – IX-681/622 depart 1315, arrive 2230 (via Chennai on Wed, Thur, Fri, Sun)
- Singapore – IX-682 depart 0305, arrive 0955 (non-stop, daily)
