Etihad Airways has opened a lounge at Tom Bradley International Terminal (B).

The lounge is available for first class and business class guests, Etihad guest Platinum, Gold and Silver members flying on EY170 and Etihad Airways Partner (EAP) airlines’ Platinum and Gold members.

The lounge is Etihad’s third in the US after New York and Washington D.C. It has 15 international lounges  in total including Abu Dhabi, Frankfurt, London, Manchester, Dublin, Paris, Washington D.C., New York JFK, Sydney and Melbourne.

The new lounge is on the 6th floor in the Tom Bradley International Terminal (B), and overlooks a shopping centre below.

The interior of the lounge is in what Etihad calls its ‘Modern Arabian’ décor, which features geometric patterns and combines traditional and modern styles. The new lounge has dining, a bar, TV area, shower facilities, a VIP room, complimentary Wi-Fi, power outlets and a selection of international magazines and newspapers. Its menu features Californian and Middle Eastern cuisine.

Etihad partnered with London-based beverage consultancy Fluid Movement, which creates signature cocktails such as the Los Angeles– Tequila and homemade rice milk, spiced with cocao nib and chili liqueur, and a spiced, cotton candy highball, made using the lounge’s cotton candy machine. Their partnership began in November 2015 at the opening of Etihad’s lounge at New York’s JFK Airport.

Ethihad launched daily non-stop services between Los Angeles and Abu Dhabi in July 2014, it also offers services between Abu Dhabi and Chicago and Washington, D.C. and two twice-daily services to New York (JFK) and three-times-weekly services to Dallas/Fort Worth.
