British Airways has welcomed its 12th Airbus A380 superjumbo into its fleet.
The latest delivery is the last in the carrier’s firm order for the double-decker aircraft.
BA does have options for a further seven A380s, but is more likely to consider leasing further superjumbos from other airlines than converting these to firm orders.
The carrier’s A380s currently fly to a total of nine destinations – Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver, Hong Kong, Singapore, Johannesburg, London, Miami and Washington.
BA’s superjumbos are configured for a total of 469 seats, with 14 seats in First, 97 in Club World, 55 in World Traveller Plus, and 303 in World Traveller.
