Emirates serves vintage Dom Pérignon in first class

24 Jul 2015 by GrahamSmith
Emirates is serving Dom Pérignon champagne in its first class cabins across various routes including on all its services to/from the UK. The Gulf airline is introducing Dom Pérignon Vintage 2005 and the Dom Pérignon Vintage Rosé 2003. It has also added a pairing menu developed in collaboration with Pascal Tingaud, Chef de Cuisine at Dom Pérignon who has two Michelin stars. Emirates said in a statement: "Due to the limited production linked to the challenging nature of the 2005 harvest, access to [Dom Pérignon Vintage 2005] will be carefully curated. Emirates will offer this exceptional vintage to its first class customers. "On some routes, Emirates will also serve the Dom Pérignon Vintage Rosé 2003 in first class. Both champagnes have been offered to Emirates as a global airline exclusive." To learn what wines, ports and champagne will be served on a specific flight, passengers should click here. British Airways will serve Bolney Estate Pinot Gris 2014 wine to its first class passengers next month (see news, July 22). emirates.com Graham Smith
